Crochet Sparkle Ruffle Fashion Doll Blouse – Free PDF Pattern & Tutorial

Shimmering flecks of pink, blue, gold and purple scattered across a deep black yarn give this tiny crochet blouse a wonderfully glamorous finish. The oversized ruffled neckline creates plenty of texture and volume, while the coordinating off-the-shoulder sleeves make the design feel playful and fashion-forward. Paired with simple black shorts, skirts or trousers, the Crochet Sparkle Ruffle Fashion Doll Blouse easily becomes the statement piece of a miniature outfit.

Designed for Your Fashion Doll Wardrobe

This crochet blouse is designed to fit fashion dolls approximately 10.5–11.5 inches tall. Since doll body shapes can differ, I recommend checking the fit against your doll as you crochet. You can make small adjustments to the starting chain when needed to achieve the fitted look you prefer.

Yarn, Hook & Colour Ideas

This is a wonderfully small project that only requires approximately 15–25 yards of yarn, although having a little extra available is helpful when adjusting the fit or experimenting with fuller ruffles. I used a black multicoloured sparkle yarnwith jewel-toned flecks to create the blouse pictured, but you can recreate it in any colour combination you love. Worsted-weight acrylic, cotton or cotton-blend yarn can all work for this pattern, and a 2.5 mm crochet hook helps create compact stitches that are nicely proportioned for fashion doll clothing. If your chosen yarn is particularly thick or thin, you may need to make slight adjustments to the starting chains.

Make It Your Own

The silhouette gives you plenty of room to experiment with your miniature wardrobe. Try a solid black version for an elegant evening look, bright pink for something playful, cream or pastel yarn for a softer style, or another metallic and sparkle yarn for an extra-dramatic finish. The blouse can be styled with miniature jeans, tailored shorts, fitted skirts or a long flowing skirt, making the same crochet pattern useful for creating several completely different doll outfits.

There is always another tiny outfit taking shape around here, so come back to see what joins the collection next.
