Crocheted in a fresh olive green, this blouse has a relaxed cropped silhouette with short sleeves and a wide neckline that gives it a cute, casual feel. The embroidered daisy embellishment adds a playful handmade accent, with white petals and a warm yellow-orange center standing out beautifully against the green yarn. It is a quick little project that can easily be paired with skirts, pants, shorts, or other handmade doll wardrobe pieces.
Made to Fit Your Fashion Doll Wardrobe
This crochet blouse is designed for 10.5″–11.5″ fashion dolls. Since fashion dolls can have slightly different bust, waist, and shoulder measurements, I recommend trying the blouse on your doll as you crochet and again before permanently joining the pieces. The uncomplicated construction also makes this pattern fairly easy to adjust if your particular doll needs a slightly looser or closer fit.

You can make your own version using my free PDF crochet pattern and tutorial, which includes a step-by-step guide for crocheting and assembling the blouse. The construction is wonderfully straightforward, making this a fun choice when you want a small doll project that doesn’t take forever to finish. Once the crochet portion is complete, the daisy embroidery adds that final decorative touch. Click on the download link at the bottom of this post to access the free PDF pattern and tutorial.
A Tiny Project That Uses Very Little Yarn
One of the nicest things about crocheting doll clothes is how little yarn you need. This blouse requires approximately 10–15 yards of yarn, depending on your tension and any adjustments you make to the fit. I used olive green yarn for the blouse, along with tiny amounts of white and yellow-orange yarn for the daisy. A worsted-weight acrylic, cotton, or cotton-blend yarn will work well for this project. I crocheted the blouse with a 2.5 mm crochet hook, which helps create compact stitches and a nicely structured fabric at fashion-doll scale.
Make the Daisy Detail Your Own
Although the little daisy is a simple addition, it gives this blouse so much personality. You can recreate the white-and-yellow flower shown here or experiment with pink, lavender, blue, cream, or any other colors that complement your doll’s wardrobe. You could even crochet several blouses in different yarn colors and change the embroidery on each one. Small embellishments like flowers are one of my favorite ways to make simple doll crochet pieces feel more decorative and unique.
